Bright Minds Neuropsychology provides a variety of assessments for toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults who present with learning, social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties. We specialize in evaluating and diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders in children and youth with and without medical conditions. Our team uses knowledge of brain development and functioning to help children and their caregivers understand why they are experiencing challenges and to provide strength-based, comprehensive recommendations to foster growth and development. We have a compassionate and collaborative approach to our work and are passionate about empowering youth and their families to harness their unique strengths to overcome challenges.
Dr. Brette Lansue

Dr. Brette Lansue (she/her) is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Dr. Lansue received her undergraduate degree in Psychology, followed by a Master’s degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology) at the University of Windsor. She completed her training at a number of prominent institutions, including The Children’s Center (TCC) in Detroit, MI, the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, ON, and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in Ottawa, ON. Dr. Lansue currently works as a staff pediatric neuropsychologist at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, where she conducts neuropsychological assessments and works within multi-disciplinary teams to support children, adolescents, and their families.
Dr. Lansue also provides consultation to caregivers of toddlers and young children to help manage difficult behaviours and promote strong parent-child relationships, using evidence-based parenting techniques. Dr. Lansue is a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist with PCIT-International.
Outside of work, Dr. Lansue enjoys being outdoors, watching a good true-crime documentary, and spending time with her husband, new baby, friends, and German Shepherd (Brinks).
Dr. Jessica Hurtubise

Dr. Jessica Hurtubise (she/her) completed her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Physiology/Pharmacology at the University of Saskatchewan before completing her Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology Track) at the University of Windsor. Her clinical training included several specialized settings, such as The Children’s Center (TCC) in Detroit, MI, the Greater Essex County District School Board in Windsor, ON, and a CPA-accredited residency in pediatric neuropsychology at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in Ottawa, ON. Dr. Hurtubise is currently a pediatric neuropsychologist at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, where she conducts inpatient and outpatient neuropsychological assessments, supervises doctoral residents, and collaborates within multidisciplinary teams to support assessment and intervention planning.
Alongside clinical service, Dr. Hurtubise delivers professional training on autism assessment and neurodiversity-affirming practice. Across all roles, her work emphasizes high-quality, evidence‑informed, and ethically grounded assessment practices that support accurate diagnosis and meaningful outcomes for children and families.
In her free time, Dr. Hurtubise loves reading, spending time with her cats (Toni and Hobbes), trying out new recipes, going on walks, and playing games with family and friends.
